Wood Deck Reconstruction

The existing deck boards, railings and steps on this wood deck were beyond repair. However, the beams and support columns were in very good shape and were used in the reconstruction.

Posts were capped and metal ballusters used in the new railings to improve the long term durability. The height of the deck was also raised slightly to level it with the floor of the house, reducing the trip hazard when stepping between the home and the deck.
