Front Walkway and Retaining Wall

This was the first stage of a two stage project and when completed provide a dramatic transformation to the property. The design extended the steps from the front slab out to the front of the garage with retaining walls constructed on each side.

A raised garden area was built next to the outer paver retaining wall and another retailing wall was built using armor stone to provide an enclosure for a raised garden. This feature softened the area by allowing for the planting of some small shrubs and an emerald cedar. Landscape lighting was also incorporated into this area for added ambience as well as improve visibility as security after dark.
