We utilize a simple but proven four-step process to help ensure that we consistently deliver a quality finished project that meets or exceeds your expectations.
Step 1. Consult – In the first step of the process we meet with you to determine your wants and needs and begin the process of defining the scope of what you want to have done and your budget. These are two fundamental aspects relating to any home improvement project as there are virtually unlimited design possibilities available and can vary considerably in both price as well as time to complete. During this time we will also discuss and review any known issues or repair work that may be required as a part of the project in order to assess the level of effort required to resolve the issue. There is no cost or obligation for this initial consultation.
Step 2. Plan – Based on your initial input we will document the scope and requirements for your project and work with you to finalize selection of the materials that will be used. For example, in the case of a bathroom remodel, this could include selection of tiles and mosaics, vanity, fixtures, lighting, paint colors, trim, etc. Once all selections are finalized, we provide you a written quote for the project that includes cost and schedule. As with Step 1, there is no cost or obligation for this part of the process. However, if you want a detailed design or drawings before making a decision to proceed, we will charge a small fee to cover the time needed to prepare it. Once you are ready to proceed, we provide you with a detailed contract to ensure that everything agreed upon is documented and delivered.
Step 3. Execute – On the start date and prior to any other work, we will take steps to minimize dust and prevent damage while work is underway. In advance of this, we also provide a list of steps you can take to help prepare your home for the project. For an interior project, this may include packing away or moving belongings that might be occupying the area where the work will be undertaken, or removing pictures or mirrors from rooms with walls adjacent to the work area. As work progresses, we will bring any issues that may be discovered to your attention immediately so the best corrective action can be mutually determined. During this phase, if you wish to make changes, we will also do our best to incorporate those changes into the project.
Step 4. Close – Throughout the project we will review work and progress with you at regular and timely intervals to ensure that once completed, everything meets your expectations and is in accordance with the project’s agreed upon scope of work and requirements. At completion of your project, we will do a final walk-through review with you to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the final result.
